Car Insurance for Lebanon, TN, from Your Wilson County Neighbor
I'm Dustin Rodgers. My office is a short drive west in Mt. Juliet, and I'd be glad to help you make sense of your auto coverage. Call 615-562-5100 or request a quote below.

Hi, I'm Dustin Rodgers with Rodgers Insurance Agency. Lebanon is the Wilson County seat, and a lot of the county's driving runs right through it: errands around the Public Square, classes at Cumberland University, fair week at the James E. Ward Agricultural Center, and the morning push west on I-40 toward Nashville. My office is on Providence Pkwy in Mt. Juliet, in the same county, and I work with Lebanon drivers who'd rather talk to a real person than sort through fine print alone. Call, email, or stop by the office when you're headed west, and we'll go through your options together, in plain language.
Auto Coverage Options for Lebanon Drivers
Lebanon driving mixes interstate miles, in-town stops and county two-lanes. Here's what each coverage can do:
Liability
Can help pay for injuries to others and damage to their property when you're at fault in a covered accident. Tennessee requires it, and many I-40 commuters look at limits above the state minimum.
Uninsured and underinsured motorist
Can help protect you and your passengers if you're hit by a driver who has little or no insurance.
Collision
Can help pay to repair or replace your vehicle after a covered collision, whether it happens on US-231 or in a parking lot near the Square.
Comprehensive
Can help with covered losses that aren't collisions, such as theft, vandalism, hail, falling limbs, fire or a deer on a county road.
Medical payments
Can help with medical costs for you and your passengers after a covered accident.
Roadside assistance
Can help with towing, flat tires, lockouts and dead batteries.
Rental car coverage
Can help with transportation costs while your car is repaired after a covered claim.
Coverage availability, limits and terms vary by policy. Ask me what makes sense for your vehicles.
Bundling and Other Ways to Tailor Your Policy
If you own a home in Lebanon, or rent near Cumberland, it can make sense to look at your auto and property coverage together. Options and discounts depend on your drivers, your vehicles and the other policies you have. Ask me which of these may be available to you:
- Bundling auto with home, renters or other policies
- Insuring more than one vehicle on the same policy
- Good-student and safe-driving programs
- Vehicle safety features
- Payment and paperless options
Discounts and coverages are subject to eligibility, may vary by state, and are not available on every policy.
Driving In and Around Lebanon
Lebanon sits about 25 miles east of downtown Nashville. I-40 runs along the south side of the city with three Lebanon exits, US-70 heads west toward Mt. Juliet, US-231 runs north and south through town toward Murfreesboro, and SR-109 runs up the west side of the city toward the Cumberland River and Gallatin.
The city keeps changing. Hartmann Drive and Maddox-Simpson Parkway form a partial loop around town, and TDOT opened a new alignment of SR-141 (Hartsville Pike) in November 2025 with a new intersection at US-70. New roads and new traffic patterns are a good reason to make sure your coverage is keeping up.
Between Cumberland University students, school traffic, fair crowds on E. Baddour Pkwy and weekend trips out to Cedars of Lebanon State Park, a lot of different drivers share the same roads. Add Middle Tennessee hail and deer near the tree line, and it's worth a quick coverage check-in.
Lebanon Areas I Serve
I work with drivers across Lebanon (37087 and 37090), Watertown, Mt. Juliet and the rest of Wilson County, all from my office on Providence Pkwy in Mt. Juliet.
Tennessee's Financial Responsibility Law requires minimum liability limits of $25,000 per person for injury or death, $50,000 per accident for total injury or death, and $25,000 per accident for property damage. “Dustin always makes sure I have all the needed coverage in the most cost-effective way. He reviews my policies at least annually and will move me to another company if it saves me money. He is helpful and supportive when I’ve had to make claims in stressful situations. Excellent agent.”
“I've been insured through Dustin for years. Recently was involved in an accident and though the accident itself was terrible, I was met with so much kindness and responsiveness, especially by Marjorie. Marjorie, Thomas, and Dustin were all quick to respond, answer questions, and walk me through the entire process. What otherwise could have been a very stressful ordeal, was seamless and I'm so thankful for what they do.”
“Fantastic!!!! Relocated to TN from IL. Our Agents office referred us to Dustin. When I called to have an initial discussion regarding dual households, his staff member was friendly, helpful and calming. We have a lot of moving parts. Dustin took my call right away. Walked me through options, assisted with setting us up with a policy for immediate needs. Great introduction, looking forward to Dustin and his Team being our new agent. Thank you!”
“Dustin was wonderful to work with. He was very helpful, patient, and understanding throughout our many-month home buying process, which included multiple attempts before we finally closed on "the one." He really helped us to make the best decision for our family and financial investment on a property located in a flood zone that we ended up cancelling. Dustin, along with everyone in his office, is always professional, friendly, and responsive, and we feel confident that he will work hard for us if we ever need to file a claim.”
Lebanon Car Insurance Questions, Answered
Do you have an office in Lebanon?
My office is in Mt. Juliet at 1982 Providence Pkwy, Ste 257, a short drive west of Lebanon on I-40 or US-70. I work with Lebanon drivers by phone, by email and in person at the office. Call 615-562-5100, Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm, and we'll get started.
What auto insurance does Tennessee require?
Tennessee's Financial Responsibility Law requires minimum liability limits of $25,000 per person for injury or death, $50,000 per accident for total injury or death, and $25,000 per accident for property damage. If you finance or lease your vehicle, your lender may also require collision and comprehensive coverage.
I commute from Lebanon to Nashville on I-40. What coverage should I look at?
Daily interstate miles are worth a conversation. Many commuters review their liability limits, uninsured motorist coverage, rental car coverage and roadside assistance. I'll walk you through what each one does, how they fit together and what they cost, so you can decide what makes sense for your drive and your budget.
Will my car insurance help if I hit a deer on a Wilson County road?
Comprehensive coverage can help with covered animal strikes, along with theft, hail and fire. If you swerve to miss the deer and hit a tree, fence or ditch instead, collision coverage is usually what applies. Coverage depends on your policy terms, so it's worth checking that you carry both.
My student goes to Cumberland University. How should their car be insured?
It depends on who owns the car, where it's kept during the school year and who drives it. Sometimes it fits on the family policy, and sometimes it needs its own. Give me a call, tell me how the car is used, and we'll figure out the right setup together.
Do I still need collision coverage once my car is paid off?
Collision becomes optional once there's no lender involved, but it can still help pay for your own car's damage after a covered accident. We can compare your car's current value with the cost of the coverage and your deductible, so you can make the call that feels right.
What happens if I'm hit by a driver with no insurance?
Uninsured and underinsured motorist coverage can help pay for your injuries and, depending on the policy, damage to your vehicle when the at-fault driver can't. It's one of the coverages I'm asked about most. I'm happy to explain how it works on a Tennessee policy before you choose your limits.
Can I bundle my Lebanon home and auto insurance?
Yes. You can bundle auto with home, renters or other policies, which means one agent who knows your whole picture. A multi-policy discount may be available, depending on your policies and eligibility. We'll go over what applies to you before you change anything, and there's no obligation.
What should I have ready for a quote?
Have your driver's license number, each vehicle's VIN and your current policy or declarations page if you have one. That's usually all we need to get started. Then call 615-562-5100 or use the quote form on this page, and someone from my office will follow up during business hours.
What should I do after an accident?
First, make sure everyone is safe and call 911 if anyone is hurt. Exchange information with the other driver and take photos of the scene. Then report the claim to your insurance company or call my office at 615-562-5100, and we'll help you understand the next steps.
